It was announced at the games release that players will be able to buy and sell items on a marketplace within the game. The goods traded through this system could include armour sets, weapons, horses and more!

“[…]in terms of gameplay, […] motivated individuals may build higher-quality artifacts, while commission craftsmen will accomplish the bare minimum and hence be of the lowest quality,” according to dev diary 80.
After being postponed last week, Crusader Kings III: Royal Court will now be released in 2022, most likely with patch 1.5.
